Coastal Destinations!
Summer means time outdoors with friends, family or just by yourself. Time to disconnect and enjoy the sunshine.
We have a few favorite spots that we love to indulge in the summer season, here are our top five coastal destinations.
-Las Terrenas, Dominican Republic (vacation-hang out like the locals)
Northeast of the capital city of Santo Domingo, Las Terrenas is where most of the dominicans go to disconnect far aways from the heavy resort areas like Puerto Plata, La Romana or Punta Cana. Rent an airbnb and disconnect going to the beach, eating local fresh seafood with a presidente and mamajuana on hand.
-Tulum, Yucatan, Mexico (pre-columbian history, nightlife, nature)
2 hours south of Cancun, Tulum was a sacred site for the Mayans with century old ruins, breathtaking beaches and freshwater cenotes. If you want to indulge and connect with the star, Caribbean sea and enjoy fine dining experiences and of course plenty of nightlife clubs to dance the night away.
- San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua (surf, beer and fresh seafood)
A gem in Central America, San Juan del Sur is the vacation spot for many Nicaraguans. A famous surfing town in the Pacific Coast, it has a small town full of small restaurants, bars and the only craft beer in the town, Nicaragua, Craft Beer, Co. Take time to surf, hike, sunbathe, drink plenty of ice cold Panga Drops and enjoy the bounty of the Pacific ocean.
-Culebra, Puerto Rico (disconnect and connect with mother nature)
The island off the east coast of mainland Puerto Rico, Culebra has one of the top beaches of the world, playa flamenco, dive in, snorkel, soak up the sun, disconnect, stay a few days and connect with mother nature. You wont regret it. Recharge mode.
-La Barceloneta, Barcelona, Spain (city beach lifestyle)
Want to stay in a city and have fun at the beach, La Barceloneta in Catalonia's capital city Barcelona is there for you. A short walk from Las Ramblas, bar-hop, have lunch, have a plenty of cava with fresh seafood tapas and take a stroll to the Mediterranean sea.
